The brakes were checked and new pads put on after I purchased in sept 03. The peddle though has to be pushed right to the floor before brakes really engage. All fluid levels are good and brakes have been bled. Whats the problem? :icon16:

possible your rear brakes(if drums) are out of adjustment,slack hand brake cable right off,remove rear drums and adjust shoes ,readjust cable and see how it is.
