I am new to this forum. I just bought an '82 320i that is in unbelievably good condition. It has 130K original kms, the body is mint, it has never been driven in the winter and has been stored in a garage. The owner was very picky about its upkeep and it was serviced regularly.

My question is, what types of gremlins can I expect to find as a new onwer? Also, it is an automatic, has there ever been much put out about a manual conversion? And finally, are there any alternatives to the stock accordian bumpers that come on these things.

I have a 1983 320i I know that you can get different bumpers but I can't find any. I'll look for them right now and I'll reply again and tell you where they are.

Nothings coming up. but thats because I'm at school and they block all the good websites.

I'm lucky to even have gotten onto this one.
