EcuBelldandy 01-07-2002, 01:15 AM My friends car is a Mitsubishi Lancer he's about to get a K&N air filter for it and he wants to reset the ecu. I know for honda u either take out the fuse or dissconnect negative battery cable for 15mins. Does that dissconnect battery cable work for all cars?? drift 01-07-2002, 02:08 AM yes. but no matter what he does to that car short of a motor swap, it will still be slow. drove one once and wanted to beat the crap out of it with a bat. they're disgustingly slow... dont think about passing at freeway speeds. Si2000 Vtec 01-07-2002, 02:37 AM You can make any car quick. Just takes a lot of money. His best bet is probably a turbo, even at that, it'll probably run an amazing mid 15. Belldandy 01-07-2002, 09:36 AM So what if it's slow??!?!? Honda are slow! Whats your point!?! jeez. So can someone answer my question now??? CivSiGuy 01-07-2002, 09:40 AM yeah just disconnect the negative battery terminal, works for all cars because it kills power to the ECU Belldandy 01-07-2002, 09:45 AM Originally posted by CivSiGuy yeah just disconnect the negative battery terminal, works for all cars because it kills power to the ECU Nice Thanks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
