Why Nissan rubber floor matsSchludwiller 01-06-2002, 09:47 PM Besides the deep groves that hold tons of water and mud, here's another reason to get the rubber floor mats. They make awesome traction devices in the snow! rhombus 01-06-2002, 09:58 PM Really? I would have thought that they would be a big frisbee. (well true be told I would not have thought of using them :) ) Schludwiller 01-06-2002, 10:21 PM Nope. Lots of those rubber needles on the bottom side, and rubber on rubber can be pretty grabby. We used them a couple of times. rrdstarr 01-07-2002, 05:42 PM Pretty good thinking Schlud! I never would have thought of that! cmxterra 01-07-2002, 06:06 PM That looks like grey poop.. Now THIS looks like snow :D http://swxc.org/images/MemberRidePhotos/Carlton/mudmats.jpg ToeJam 01-07-2002, 08:49 PM ... as we found out, but they look nasty after your tire spits them out a few times rhombus 01-07-2002, 10:29 PM Is this 10 minutes before? http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/attachment.php?s=&postid=201430 :) Schludwiller 01-07-2002, 11:12 PM Originally posted by rhombus Is this 10 minutes before? :) Actually no. I just slipped into a rut and lost my momentum. I backed down the hill, got my speed back and plowed right through it. The stuck spot was actually in a pretty flat area. On the hills you could always use gravity to back out. The deep flatter areas just made nice icy holes to get stuck in. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
