Just put in a evo III ported manifold, mits. 16G turbo (slightly used), TurboXS MBC, Autometer BG, 2.5 inch o2 elimintator and downpipe. When turbo spools up I get a whistling sound and all lines and pipes disturbed are tight. An earlier article mentioned his turbo going out after it whistled for a few months. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

you may have an exhaust leak, r do you have a cone type filter, b/c those add alot more noise to the turbo spool up ( u can hear it better)

The turbo itself will whistle, but if you think it's a leak, build a leak tester from www.vfaq.com and make sure.
