Jaguar XKa007apl 01-06-2002, 10:31 AM 180 jsb88 10-31-2002, 10:23 AM I want that car! They wouldn't sell me one! jsb88 12-07-2002, 08:27 AM it is unbelievably beautiful. :( Ran 01-05-2003, 02:24 PM i see that we are talking about this with reach people. jsb88 01-06-2003, 10:28 AM The XK180 looks better than the F-Type to me. although remarkably similar, this one looks more impractical and therefore better :) Swoxy 01-06-2003, 12:08 PM Impractial is better? jsb88 01-07-2003, 03:06 AM well yes when it comes to the look of a car, because race cars are impractical. Combining both is the clever part. Swoxy 01-07-2003, 12:05 PM And which car do your reckon does that? The Esprit? jsb88 01-08-2003, 02:59 AM Yes I guess so anyway. good looking with 40 litres of boot. :) Swoxy 01-08-2003, 01:43 PM I suppose that's good for an 70's designed sports car. What year it is? jsb88 01-08-2003, 04:28 PM '88. :) Swoxy 01-08-2003, 04:36 PM Did you see Top Gear the other day? They said that Lotus will stop building the Esprit soon, because they're running out of gearboxes for them (from what I here, the Esprits worst feature is the gearbox). The box used is from a Renault 21, and because that car is an extinct as the T-Rex, supplies are short. It'll cost too much money to manufacture a new box, and no other one will fit. JSB, how's the box on the Esprit? jsb88 01-09-2003, 12:43 PM Its fine for me. Mmm... maybe I should to buy the last Esprit, instead of a Bentley Continental, just to keep the heritage going. It is only 50,00 Swoxy 01-10-2003, 04:24 PM Don't buy a Continental, get an Azure convertible instead! This is the final series model as well, absolutely stunning, with 18" chrome wheels. jsb88 01-11-2003, 03:02 AM It will definetly be a two door Bentley, but if I buy an XKR convertible as well, do I really need two convertibles? Swoxy 01-11-2003, 09:00 AM You're replacing the XK8? In that case, you should get a Continental - in orange! jsb88 01-12-2003, 04:25 AM Well, the XK8 will be replaced by an XKR whatever happens... so then I buy a continental and have both. :D Swoxy 01-12-2003, 06:22 AM Well JSB, all I can say on this matter is the Continental and XKR are my two favourite cars! jsb88 01-12-2003, 03:35 PM Yes... But why Orange? Swoxy 01-15-2003, 11:59 AM Trust me, last year Bentley released an orange one and it looked amazing. The colour reflected light, and brought out lines in the car that I didn't even know where there! jsb88 01-15-2003, 04:14 PM Did you know that in EVO magazine this moneth it recommends buying an '88 Esprit!!! just the same time I am trying to sell mine! God is very swift these days!! Swoxy 02-03-2003, 05:28 PM Have you sold them yet? jsb88 02-04-2003, 02:52 AM I sold the Lotus yesterday. :) Swoxy 02-04-2003, 05:25 PM Great! Has there been interest in the Jag? jsb88 02-07-2003, 11:50 AM 2 people, but neither have come to look at it yet. Swoxy 02-07-2003, 07:21 PM Where have you advertised it? Autotrader is very good, as it Top Marques. You could also try dropping the asking price. jsb88 02-08-2003, 02:47 AM I have advertised on the internet, Jag monthly and Autotrader. Swoxy 02-08-2003, 02:12 PM Use JagAds (http://www.jagads.co.uk). We got lots of responses when we advertised the Daimler their, and it sold! jsb88 02-08-2003, 04:52 PM It is there I think. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
