Honda Civic(USA) = Honda Balade(SA)?

I'm from South Africa, and here we have the Honda civic, whitch is a hatchback, and a honda balade, whitch is not a hatchback...I would like to know if our "balade" is the same as you honda Civics. And we only get our balade and civics in 1500cc and1800cc. What are the motor sizes of your civics, and would those motors fit in our Civics and balades...
