I have a 97 civic ex... I am looking to upgrade many parts. I just want to know what to do first. If anyone has some advise I would love to hear it.

intake header exhaust is the normal first combo. Just read the threads on this board, any question concerning your question can be quickly answered that way

screw everything and get a turbo dont waste your money on 3 hp gains

Little 3hp gains are easier for people to do because they can afford it as they go. And if they buy the right parts, their going to be making more than 3hp per part. But you CAN find some pretty cheap used turbo's on www.thepartstrader.com if you look.

doesn't greddy make a turbo kit for like $1500?? that's not much more than I/H/E... well.. more hp/$ atleast... oh well

buy a turbo setup piece by piece... that's what i did.

also, turbos are generally cheaper at your local junkyard. i got mine for $50, and a rebuild kit with new center housing for $125.
