Hey, planning to get a front bumper for my civic 2000. I can choose from a used white painted Black Widow Fiberglass or an unpainted used Buddy Club Urethane. I want to get the Black Widow only because I am doing the painting myself. Planning on using Duplicolor spray paint with primer and wet sanding. Need to make the color red to match my car. Urethane: I will need to get it prof. done and that will cost too much money. Both kit I can get for same price. Since used, $100 each. Which one should I get and does anyone know how to remove the old white paint and put new red paint on? Thx

Sand the paint off.

When it comes down to it... I always say... Take your time, do it right, and never settle for less.

Also, you asked about how to strip paint... if you dont know that, then it seems like you're not too experienced with painting. You might want to stay away from pray cans if you dont know what you're doing. Not to sound cocky, but the only good spray paint job I've ever seen is my work on my car.
