Was on the blvd last night...me n my team were cruisin around to some spots..we went to franny lew and out to Hunts point in BX. me n my friend lined up on a road 2 lanes going straight and 1 turning lane..we werent going to race until an old school rx7 lined up to our left in the turning lane and starts reving..i look at my friend n started to smile..hehe so he knew what was up..light turns green..and all of us are off..me n my boy smoked him..we both hit our hazards..i got a 00 civic ex auto and my boy has a Teg LS wit a decent amount of work done to it..Next up..new beetle..1.8T i think..atleast thats what my friend said..we lined up..i got him off the line but then he stopped so i stopped then he comes speeding up so then i floor it and it drops to 2nd, i start to pick up on him when he's about a car and a half ahead of me..he got me through 2nd but when 3rd kicked in..i pulled on him. Then my boy in the Teg lines up wit him..we took turns raping his @$$ all over the road...hehe pretty fun night.

Wernt you scared that there would B' another terrorest attack? I mean since you are from NY and all I dont think that it would B' safe out on the streetz right now racing!

i dont think racing spots would be a great target for a terrorist..plus...you gotta have fun and live..know what im saying? kinda life would it be if you stay scared ?

i doubt it was a 1.8t they have like 150hp

well a civic and tegra with decent amound of mods would have around that as well.... anyway

as much as i'm not a fan of VW... it would be nice to have that like 500hp new beetle they had in Motor Trend and smoke mustangs just to piss them off ;)

they're also over 3000lbs.

a friend of mine has a 1.8T beetle... boosted up to 12psi on stock internals, he gets me off the line every time, but i can pass him at the top of second gear.

that was when i was naturally aspirated tho...

now he's added a 75 shot of NX to try and chase me down... we have yet to run.

yeah... when racing a VW it's important to find out what's under the hood... i knew someone who raced a jetta and they kicked it's ass... it was the slow jetta... the 2.0 or something then he raced a 1.8t and didnt beat it by as much.. couldn't figure out why.. then the VR6 was bad news heh

anybody know how much torque a 1.8t has? i mean i have the same hp as a civic si stock, plus i weight more, but i can stomp a stock si all night cuz i got a lot more torque (awd doesnt hurt much either) ill take him from takeoff and pull on it the entire race.

also keep in mind that Volkswagen and other deutsch manufacturers are notorious for underrating their output, unlike Japanese car makers who sometimes overrate their output.

I Race 4 TEAM RAVAGE, and we race with top of the line shit! from the gas we fill our tanks with 2 the stickers we strap onto our rides. drift: 150hp, 162ft/lbs tq? last time I checked it was 162hp,262/ibs tq. Thats on SSCG.

any of you guys seen the video with a 600hp Old Skool 3 rotor RX7 - DAMN it has the most explosive acceleration i've ever seen (apart from funnie cars )

any of u guys seen and old school rx-7 burnout and do donuts for like 3 minutes straight?.......then he blows his tires then blows his motor.......that was pretty crazy........but it got boring cuz it was like......3 minutes.......
