Towncar 03-10-2004, 09:13 PM hi. i was wondering if you guys knew of other good lincoln forum sites. i want to have as many resources as possible. thanks. Too many can be a pain in the butt. Most of us do have memberships in several, but then have our favorites that we visit regularly. Here's a few to keep you going for awhile: Town Car Specific http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=751 http://lincolnsonline.com/ http://www.lincolnsonline.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi http://www.internet-homebusiness.us/lincoln-town-cars-1990s/ http://lincolntowncar.org/ Town Car Included http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/index.php http://www.markviii.org/LOD2/index.htm All Lincolns, non specific http://www.hotrodlincoln.org/ http://www.classiclincolns.com/ http://www.lsc-ss.com/ Then there some good stuff to be found at http://www.fordvschevy.com/forum/vbindex.php And last, but not least vehicle information and testing http://www.alldata.com/TSB/ http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ ltdltc 03-12-2004, 07:18 PM Towncar, are you a member of lincolntowncar.org ? That is where I mostly reside unless the threads get boring or inactive. Towncar 03-12-2004, 08:32 PM Towncar, are you a member of lincolntowncar.org ? Yeah, I joined up Jan. 2003 (http://lincolntowncar.org/cgi-bin/ib/ikonboard.cgi?act=Profile;CODE=03;MID=115-1041903701) Only posted once there, It was a reply to lincolnguy1979 brakes question. (http://lincolntowncar.org/cgi-bin/ib/ikonboard.cgi?s=405260b82840ffff;act=ST;f=4;t=97) and that was back in Jan. 2003 Charles A seems to have everything under control over there. ltdltc 03-12-2004, 09:45 PM Yeah, Charles knowledge on these cars is amazing. On a side note did you ever get that cd cartridge to come out of the changer? I have not yet to install my changer, Need to find a better power source than what ssiamerica.com (http://ssiamerica.com) tells me. I think the factory wiring for the changer is routed through the fuel cut off switch. But I need to get a factory EVTM (Electrical, Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual) to be sure. Nope, never found the time to get that sucker out yet.. been close several times just looking around. About that EVTM, I have a few copies of the 1996 CD version. I burned copies and stashed away the originals for safekeeping. The entire Sound System is there... I don't see any specific troubleshooting for that system though. It's not going to be a direct hit with your 1995 but you're welcome to a copy if interested. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
