Heater/AC Fan Won't Stop Running

I went to start my 95 Aurora this morning only to find the battery dead. Got it jump started, drove a bit, and when I turned off the engine, the fan kept blowing. Everything else stopped as it always had. Only fix was to pull the HVAC Blower Fuse out. I drove the rest of the day, no problems. Tried to put the fuse back, with the engine off, and the fans turned on full bore. Pulled the fuse again.

One note, Saturday, I just picked my car up from a mechanic that had just replaced my Fuel Rail. Had been leaking a lot a fuel for a day. Drove the car Saturday and Sunday. Monday was the problem. Didn't notice if the fan ran on Saturday night, but I think the battery would have drainied if it had.

The only thing I can think of after reading the threads here is the body control module. Make sense? Could it be a relay switch of sorts? If so, easy fix (I hope) and where do find this switch?

Thanks in advance for your help.

John

Mystery problems like this are best left to diagnostic machines unless you have a lot of time and a very high frustration threshhold. You may find it quickly, but that's rare. Late(new) auto electronics is an area you just have to take it in the shorts.

There is also a blower control module that could be bad.
