i have a 87 crx. its not a si or hf. the engine is messed up so im gonna dropa new engine. a friend gave me a engine out of a 88 crx. will the tranny from my crx bolt up to the new engine? it would be a big help if anyone could tell me that.

no, and the 88 engine will not fit either, must be 87 or older engine or 86-89 integra motor

you can get it to work with a lot of mods and you would have to get mounts made and new wiring harness ecu all the goodies it can be dine but just sell it and get you a new block that will drop right in
