Massive electrical problems - HELP

I own a 1994 Lincoln Town Car with 139K. Long story, but I got bamboozled into buying this car from family.

My car has trouble starting in the morning, I have to gun it to keep it from stalling, and it pulses when idling. The Check Engline light is a constant friend, and my local garage enjoyed replacing all the O2 sensors as a result. He has also replaced the plugs and wires. My car seems to make a whistling noise in the upper left engine compartment, near the PCV valve, which was just replaced as well. HELP!! (My mechanic has no idea what is wrong, and wants to go exploring at $90/hr, NO WAY)

A New addition, my cabin filled with acrid electrical smoke today, and my keyless entry and door entry pad both stopped working. I also cannot unlock any doors with the power locks on the front door panels, but I can lock them. My Climate Center switches to "Off" everytime I start the car and makes an odd ticking noise. One year ago, the Climate Center would pulse (the fan going off and on repeatedly) and my garage ripped it out and replaced it too. Is any of this related, or should I just drive this thing off of a cliff and take my chances?

I beg for someone's help!
