Front Pads & Rotors

I am about to change the pads and front rotors of my '95 for the first time. Is there anything I should wach out for. I have done many brake jobs in the past, but always appreciate the experience of another.

Do you have to get into the axle assembly to remove the rotor?

As for handy tips:

Everything is metric. After my '93 Pontiac I wasn't expecting that.
