Drawing Help (What to draw))2ubix (ube 02-27-2004, 08:37 AM Okay, just drew me first car and am hooked, and need practise but cannot choose what car to do next, PLEASE HELP. [Edit: octane has kindly told me as a beginner where to start, thanks octane.] Thanks for you help. HighOctaneNOSUser 02-27-2004, 08:47 AM I don't think you should start with any of these. I honestly think you should start with something boxy. Expecially when drawing from the sides. Just work on getting the lines right and smooth. Then add shading and try getting into the ones you have listed. Then when you feel ready to draw 3-D, again start boxy. Repeat the process and eventually you'll get anything right. I don't mean to put you down orl anything, but first drawers shouldn't try stuff like that for their second drawing. I didn't. I started off by drawing boxy cars and tracing cool ones from the side. Once I saw how the lines went, I was ready to try it myself. It'll work, it did for me. Trust me, don't doubt it, I used to draw EXACTLY the way you drew them. But, as the old saying goes, practice make perfect. )2ubix (ube 02-27-2004, 09:12 AM Thanks heaps octane will definatly take your advice, draw boxy. Okiedokie, to bad I already pissed myself trying one of those cars owhell. Could you suggest some very simple lined boxy cars for me to start on.
