Looking for hard to find partsRavagePenguin 02-23-2004, 10:10 PM I'm looking for a front end for a 1975 Trans Am that is steel. I am also looking for a 400 engine for the car. I need them so I can restore the car to it's orginal look. I have a 1971 front end and a 301 engine if you want to trade. Yes I know a 400 more expensive but you never know. Blue02R6 03-02-2004, 09:03 PM You can get remanufactured engines from a number of companies. http://www.atkengines.com/ http://www.remanufactured-engines.com/ http://www.remanufacturing.com/ I'm sure there are more. Anyway I'd also hit up car shows first talk to the people with pontiacs who knows some body might have one just laying around. 65Ponchoboy 03-23-2004, 08:09 PM www.amesperformance.com company devoted to making repo parts for ponchos so you should find what your looking for and then some. theres not parts list online so u can just order the free catalog. 1965 Pontiac Tempest Custom EightyPruf 05-11-2004, 10:32 AM I was wonderin if u knew where i could find a used or in good condition nose and fender for a 79 trans am. that's not to expensive RavagePenguin 05-16-2004, 10:58 PM How much can you go. I might have a place for you to go MrPbody 06-16-2004, 09:08 AM 400s are plenty easy to find. I actually have at least one (maybe more) '75 400. I also have the correct heads (5Cs). 400s aren't as expensive to build as a 301, and you get a LOT more for your money! E-mail me for more info. cvms@cstone.net RavagePenguin 06-16-2004, 11:41 AM Are they Pontiac 400's or a Olds or other GM Brand. If it's a Pontiac I'll have to get some money. But if you can I want to trade my 301 to help pay it off. It's not a sure thing but I'ill try. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
