I just traded my 96 Maxima for a Civic Si Rracerzchick 02-23-2004, 10:48 AM well yuh ..im happy this was a great to to trade for a 13 sec civ w.o nos..11 with it kittedb18bt 02-23-2004, 11:40 AM well yuh ..im happy this was a great to to trade for a 13 sec civ w.o nos..11 with it ummm... what in the heck is done to it?! Mediocrity 02-23-2004, 12:47 PM And what kind of NOS system shaves 2 fucking seconds off? I'm throwin it up right now... :bs: if I'm wrong, correct me, but this seems way too out there. carrrnuttt 02-23-2004, 01:09 PM Right. Does it come with the big bottles of Naws? Two of them? LoW_KeY 02-23-2004, 01:13 PM 300 shot of nitrous? 2 10 lb bottles hiding somewhere, c'mon now its not fast and furious :lol2: I mean to get a car in the 13's is rather easy, once you hit 12's it's a little more difficult and to hit 11's is really pushin it. I agree to shave 2 seconds off with nitrous sounds umm fishy? TatII 02-23-2004, 01:32 PM i am doubting even that the EK civic with the stock B18C5 ( type R for those who don't know ) can even run a 13 flat. i'm guessing low 14's to high 13's at best. Self 02-23-2004, 02:05 PM 300 shot of nitrous? 2 10 lb bottles hiding somewhere, c'mon now its not fast and furious :lol2: I mean to get a car in the 13's is rather easy, once you hit 12's it's a little more difficult and to hit 11's is really pushin it. I agree to shave 2 seconds off with nitrous sounds umm fishy? I was running a dual bottle 250 shot setup a few months back, so it's not impossible:sunglasse LjasonL 02-23-2004, 02:29 PM Civic SIR eh? flylwsi 02-23-2004, 02:45 PM self, you've got an 8, not a 4 cylinder. stock internals wouldn't hold up to that hp in a civic. does anyone remember when this girl started posting here, about how she's a badass street racer and would whoop all of us? come on guys... she doesn't have an sir. and she sure doesn't have enough nitrous to drop 2 seconds, safely. Self 02-23-2004, 05:56 PM self, you've got an 8, not a 4 cylinder. stock internals wouldn't hold up to that hp in a civic. does anyone remember when this girl started posting here, about how she's a badass street racer and would whoop all of us? come on guys... she doesn't have an sir. and she sure doesn't have enough nitrous to drop 2 seconds, safely. hahah, I know she doesn't, you're absolutely right. I was just taking the opportunity to brag:biggrin: RACER D12 02-23-2004, 06:08 PM I just found out that R is a symbol of invincibility. That’s why they use it on cars. All the more reason that shouldn’t be on a civic :screwy: -The Stig- 02-23-2004, 06:28 PM From what I was told it's got a B18C5 swap into it. That's all she'd tell me... 2000 Integra Type R 14.8 @ 96 mph Horsepower: 195 Torque: 130 2639lbs I think she told me it was a 1999 Civic Hatch, which would make it a CX or DX. 1999 Civic CX In the 17s Horsepower: 106 Torque: 103 2359lbs Assuming it has a B18C5 swap, and that it is stock. To run a 13.5, with a race weight of 2600lbs. Figuring in a 12% loss in power... the car would need about 210WHP, or about 235HP at the crank. To run 11s, about 335WHP or about 385HP at the crank is needed. Obviously a stock B18C5 can't power the car to those speeds. So we're not being told all of the story. :sly: Mediocrity 02-23-2004, 06:34 PM or that she's full of shit. flylwsi 02-23-2004, 06:59 PM i'll vote for that one... the R is for Race. but that's beside the point. a civic SiR has a b16 in it, not a b18. so someone's a liar. strange how things don't change... mynismo 02-23-2004, 07:29 PM fly did i tell you i like the pink 240 in your sig? :) RACER D12 02-23-2004, 08:12 PM i'll vote for that one... the R is for Race. but that's beside the point. a civic SiR has a b16 in it, not a b18. so someone's a liar. strange how things don't change... Maybe on honda's it means race but for Nissan it means invincibility which is why its on the GT-R. Maybe it has two meanings also though. Ace$nyper 02-24-2004, 11:46 AM This story smells of lies. 2 secs from nawwwws even Dom didn't take off 2 seconds with it. I loathe this much untill i see a RHD civic with a b16a in it my BS flag stays and then i'll want this 11 sec slips. Your story is hollow much like your fighting style I have no idea why is said that flylwsi 02-24-2004, 12:15 PM i don't know why you said it either, but it's hella funny... not unlike this thread's topic... ;) BP2K2Max 02-24-2004, 01:14 PM hey racer how much did you let that max go for? LjasonL 02-24-2004, 03:47 PM Well... you guys are forgetting there are LHD Civic SIR's with B16's... They're the Canadian version of our Si. Same car, more letters  The Canadian Si's are our EX's. But since she lives in Texas I seriously doubt she's got ahold of a Canadian (CDM?) Civic. Damn Canadians gotta screw everything up flylwsi 02-24-2004, 03:50 PM again, if you read what was posted, someone said that she said it had a b18. which is not in an SiR. the SiR had a b16... canadian SiR (USDM Si) had a b16 as well, so she's lying somewhere LjasonL 02-24-2004, 04:10 PM so she's lying somewhere Obviously  I was replying more to this: I loathe this much untill i see a RHD civic with a b16a So thought I'd throw the info out there for anyone who didn't know. It's great to learn... Cuz knowledge is power! youngvr4 02-24-2004, 04:40 PM 2 sec is pretty much the max you can take off your 1/4, and thats with some serious nitrous, but it is possible if i'm not mistaking. actually i think NOS advertise's it saying 1.5 and up to 2 sec of your 1/4 mile time, but thats advertising, and i bet thats were she got that from. Ace$nyper 02-24-2004, 05:21 PM Obviously  I was replying more to this: So thought I'd throw the info out there for anyone who didn't know. It's great to learn... Cuz knowledge is power! Yup yup I knew it but good beans share the info! now can you tell me wheres best place to get a special *wink nod wink* massage round here man? -The Stig- 02-24-2004, 06:14 PM By request of racerzchick I'm closing this thread. If you must continue talking about her car, please do it in PM's. Thanks guys. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
