Interchangable Coil packs?

Are the coil packs interchangable from a 1999 Aurora to a 1995? I have a chance to buy some cheap from a local Salvage that are guarenteed to be good. I think I have one going bad. Please let me know if you positive or not. Thanks.

Go to the advanced auto, autozone or napa web sites and look up both parts for both years and see if they have the same part numbers.

They are apparently different because they have different numbers. Oh well...

I thought they used the same coil so I checked and according to the advance auto and Autozone websites both the 95 and 99 use AC Delco part number D555 and that they cost $38.28 each at Advance Auto and $31.99 at Autozone. Im not sure what site you went to but Im getting different info.

I just went out and bought a new one and will check to see if I have a bad coil pack. Maybe I did look up the wrong one on one of the sites but to no avail I decided to pick up a new one so I know what I got instead of what could be someone elses problem. Thanks though.
