HeadboltsDaMoNe6969 02-20-2004, 07:30 PM Hey all.. the engine in my supra was rebuilt last summer and had a new design Toyota head gasket put in.. Now, i'de like to change out the head bolts for ARP bolts.. (the car wasnt mine when the engine was rebuilt) My question is Can I swap the bolts out one at a time without risking damage to my gasket? Ive done searches and heard some opinions on it, some say I can, some say I cant.. What do you think?? projectsupramk3 02-20-2004, 07:47 PM Yes you can, just torque them down in steps and do it in the proper pattern and it should be find. DaMoNe6969 02-20-2004, 08:04 PM Sounds good to me.. Know anything about the redesigned gaskets by Toyota?? Should I leave it in there?? Dont wanna go through another BHG.. Im taking the cat near the manifold out to lower the temp on the manifold side.. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
