2000 Blazer-67400 miles. tranny fluid's been changed twice in the life of the vehicle. Oil changes regularly, but have yet to do the coolant flush in hopes of preventing the dex-cool curse.

Anyway, when slight acceleration is applied, there's a slightly audible "grrrrrrr" that sounds like something tranny related. You can slightly feel the vibration of it in the gas pedal as well. Doesn't remind you of anything serious but I'd like to eliminate it if possible. It's not in the interior anywhere.

Also-anyone else ever have problems with exhaust leaks around the manifolds/collector?

Thanks in advance.

Could be the muffler and or heat shield. My 98 had a definate vibration at slight acceleration that was kind of linke a ringing sound and when shut off, there was a metallic pop sound. It when away after a while though, but I think I will eventually need to replace the muffler.

check to see if the radiator fan is making contact with the lower part of the fan shroud. if so, the motor mounts are shot. they shouldnt be at that mileage, but its possible.
