I've dipped into the many differnt ideas about my cars and I am deciding to probably stick with my 1995 Tbird. Reason being, its slightly beat up from a wreck, which would coast money to fix up before selling, its not the most beautiful piece in the world, but it looks like it can be a sleeper, and that's what I plan to do with it. So do you know any Manual trannies that would bolt onto a the 4.6 engine? 4 speed if possible. I've heard the Ford 5 speeds are weak. Explain if you can please. Thanks guys.

nope, there are no perfect mates man. unfortunately it would require WAY more fabrication than the average enthusiast has $$$ to pay.... however I have seen/heard of those who have. Tremec T-5 or T-45 is the best of fords options and are 5spd. You can pull a T-5 out of an old 80-84 turbo tbird that would work if you found a donor car. Sadly, the reliability of such an upgrade is the biggest problem you will have with it.

Ford five speeds are extremly strong where did you here that from most ford five speeds will last longer than the motor and the one in the mustang GT has great get up and go in my opinion. (Your best bet is either a 5 speed out of a super coupe or 4.6 Mustang You will need mounting modifications and need to place your clutch) Hope i could help man!!
