Im not sure how well this thread fits into this section, but it does deal with art.

Im working on starting an Auto Paint company, with airbrushing, custom painting, pinstriping, etc. I can not think of any really cool names, or names that flow. I want to be able to call it by the initials, like Orange County Choppers, AKA OCC. I also need to be able to make a cool logo that can be recognized in a silhouette.

Please help. No matter how random it is, post it. My mind thrives on things that get me started like that.

Well, similar to Von Dutch, you could have a "flying" object as your name, such as "Flying Skull" or "Flying Spade"...these are fairly easy to illustrate and cool.

You could also just have a kustom related object:

Dice, Spade, Skull, Devil, 8-Ball, Eyeballs, Rockets, Surf Boards (kinda), flames, alcohol bottles (also kinda), Aces, Maltese Crosses, Skull and Crossbones (but instead of crossed bones, it will often have crossed pistions, or crossed wrenches), Tiki masks, shrunken masks, most things tribal, just about anything with Hell...

there, that should give you a few idears

Thanks thats getting my mind going. When you made the post about Lucky 13, I immediately opened up photoshop and started designing stuff. I drew a spade in the back ground and but Lucky 13 Design out of it. Ill try to post it tommorrow.

awesome, also try to use puns or plays on words. Like my business name "Bad Ace Design". It could be either taken as like "Bad Ass design" or like Bad, or evil, hoodlum Ace, like the playing card ace. So it works on a couple levels. Those are always good.
