Shocks or Struts ??sbalgach 02-16-2004, 01:38 PM Hi, I have (2) Camry's, an '88 and a '91 both 4 cyl. My question is: Are there shocks of struts in the rear? (too lazy and it's too cold out to look). Next question: Where do you get your replacement parts at a reasonable cost? Thanks in advance for your help. Steve yotatechie04 02-17-2004, 02:03 AM Struts are in the front of the vehicle. I usually get most of my parts either at Advance, Western Auto, or AutoZone. Brian R. 02-17-2004, 08:43 AM NAPA is good also. Advance is my pick from yota's list. rpmglide 02-17-2004, 12:21 PM Just had both fronts replaced on my '98 Camry LE, 4 cyl., 100K miles (left side leaking). $90 ea., $50 ea. labor at Pep Boys. I'm learning how to do this myself next time. Hi, I have (2) Camry's, an '88 and a '91 both 4 cyl. My question is: Are there shocks of struts in the rear? (too lazy and it's too cold out to look). Steve Bossman 02-21-2004, 04:35 AM I hope this helps: I had an '87 and I still have a '92 Camry, both 4-cylinder. Both the front and rear have struts, not shocks. I had them changed out at Sears (Gabiel Gas Ryders) for a very reasonable price but it's been too long to remember exactly how much I paid for them. I think I had them changed at around 75,000 miles on each car. They didn't make the car ride any better but they did stop them from flat-spotting tires. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
