I've pretty much made up my mind, I'm gonna buy the 93 CX. Whenever I buy a car, I always change the oil and filter, spark plugs and wires and cap, etc. as soon as I have a chance and I will be doing this to the CX. First off, what's a good oil and filter to use? I've always used quaker state in my domestic cars, I don't know if imports like different types of oil or not. As for oil filters, I've been told to not use Fram filters on anything. What's a good filter? I'm going to change the plugs, but I'm stuck on what to put in. I've read through this forum, and it seems people like the NGK/Denso Iridiums and the Bosch Platinum +4's. I've used the +4's for over years in my various cars, and they've always worked well. I haven't looked in a while, but I think I remember seeing that the +4's were less costly than the Iridiums. I'll replace the cap, and if there's one of those distributor rotor button things, I'll replace that too. Would cheaper parts from Canadian Tire or NAPA be sufficient, or should I go to a Honda dealer for these? Forgive me if my threads are long, I'm just out to get as much info as I can before I plunk down my hard earned tax return dollars on this car.
