First let me say this i am not great with cars my buddy would help and he is a mechanic. I have a 88 supra and can get a twin turbo 96 with some minor mods for free and want to swap the engine transmission and exhaust because the 96 has bad frame damage. Will this work would it be worth the time? Any ideas how fast it would be. Thanks

FREE?? You must have some very generous friends, or the car is VERY hot. It's obviously going to be very challengeing if you don't know cars, that means your buddy is going to be doing all the work, and he better be a good fabricator and electrician too. Why would you ask how fast it's going to be, you know how fast its going to be and that's the exact same as a 300hp 7m powered MKIII. The only benifit to doing the swap is the high HP potential, it will be ultra reliable unless you just rag on it daily and tune it wrong, and the huge wealth of aftermarket parts for the engine.
