Buying Eclipse deck and Alpine amp..deal?alphalanos 02-14-2004, 04:34 PM Im gonna buy a top level Eclipse head unit that has like 20W/ch. and like 3V at 100ohm. and small Alpine Vpower amp for my car, for like $420 plus install what do u guys think. I already have a JVC Kameleon but it sucks and I have some tiny Boston 4" but they hold their own. Im selling the JVC to a friend for $150 and im trying to weasel $100 out of my parents. so i can keep the sting down. i think its a good deal. better than those dumbasses at circuit city. Haibane 02-14-2004, 05:30 PM I like it... sr20de4evr 02-14-2004, 06:02 PM a small alpine amp for $420 + install? I hope they throw in some lube with that "deal" alphalanos 02-14-2004, 08:40 PM Eclipse deck and Alpine amp sr20de4evr 02-15-2004, 01:58 AM ah well we kind of need model numbers, not "top level eclipse headunit" and "small alpine vpower amp" to tell you if it's a good deal or not. alphalanos 02-15-2004, 08:31 AM The deck is an Eclipse CD 3413 www.eclipse-web.com The amp is an Alpine MRP-T220 www.alpine-usa.com sr20de4evr 02-15-2004, 01:09 PM You can get the headunit new for $275 from several places, and you can get the amp new on ebay for $100. Neither of these come with warranties though, so if a warranty is important to you then you can get them for $420 from wherever you were looking. They're new for $420 right? alphalanos 02-15-2004, 01:11 PM yeah they are both brand new. actually im paying 270 for the deck and 100 for the amp, lol. i just figured in tax and install. sr20de4evr 02-15-2004, 01:28 PM ah, well then it's a decent deal if you're still getting a warranty vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
