Can anybody help me?

My 1999 corolla's gas mileage all of a sudden dropped. I used to get 360~370 miles per 11 gallon of gas (highway+city driving) before putting new tires. After installing new tires, I am getting below 320 miles, sometimes even getting below 300 miles. I installed new tires of size 65-185/R14 instead of 65-175/R14. Is there anything I should replace. There is no check-engine light turned on.

Thanks

even though this is a supra forum, ill answer ur question.
it seems like u bought new tires that are bigger. ur old tires were 175mm and ur new ones are 185mm. bigger tires take more power to turn, resulting to more gas consumed.

Why is this posted here again when there is a crappola section? Also your foot will detemine your gas milage, you may not notice giving the engine 5% more throttle everywhere but it will add up quickly.

Did you have the tires balanced after you put them on??
