Do you still have the blower control switch?

isc motor is under the throttle body its got a 6 pin switch and it lets the computer dump extra air into the throttle body

to get to it you probably want to take out the battery it makes it easier to get a straight shot at it with a wrench

how's the tranny? is it auto or stick, on a 1.8 or 2.0, FWD or AWD, turbo or non. We all know how the automatics have problems with OD but mine has OD problems often. Just tell me the tranny model number and I will give you an offer if I can use it.

I just put my 6th tranny in after only 12 years. the original, 1 new, 2 rebuilt, and 2 from junk yards. I was wondering though, why hasn't anyone remade this tranny to where it doesnt have the same problems anymore?
The 1st - locked up
2nd - lost the OD and first
3rd - lost reverse
4th - got stuck in second.
5th - smashed open by a broken cv axle
6th - wont shift
I'm considering changing the car to a standard. It would be cheaper to buy a manual tranny and a clutch pedal. But I want to see how long one more would last.

Hey, do you have the ECU.If so what part number is on it.

mine for awhile was stuck in drive all the time then i had it sitting with the ebrake on and it was in reverse pulling forward as i sat in the seat trying to figure out what was up and it clunked and went into reverse lol now it works as good as before

no fucked up shifts.nothing...its out of a 2.0L auto...
