I've a 89corolla with +200K miles on it.
My car's brake & battery warning lights are ON continuosly.

I am driving with that since morning.

Battery is 1 year old,
Brake Fluid is checked and is full to the level.

Please help....

I have the same problem.
I replaced the alternator and both lights are still on.
Any other suggestions??
All brake lights are working,res is full to the max,..... I tested for a short, and it came up positive. I used a test light, and I clipped it on the cable clamp,.. and pointed the other end on the batt.
It lit up. I removed all the fuses and none got dimmer except the dome light.
I dont think that's the problem though.

i had the same problem, one of the wires were lose on my alternator.

learn how to back-probe properly
