Front doors:
1. Use a flathead screwdriver to pop out the button pod.
2. Unclip the plugs and remove the pod.
3. Remove the two bolts, one under the handle, one inside where the pod was.
4. Pull the panel off carefully.
5. Remove old speaker by unclipping it.
6. Cut off factory connector as it will not work with aftermarket speakers.
7. Install new wires with connectors, and speaker.
8. Test before reassembling the door.
Note: Unless you have an aftermarket head unit, the sound quality will not be as high as expected. I recommend a high quality head unit(Alpine, Eclipse, Kenwood, etc) to give the speakers the high quality signal that they were designed for.
I used Alpine Type S 6.5" Speakers, $100 a pair. They came with brackets, wire, and grilles, although I didnt use the grilles.

Rear hatch:
1. Remove the two screws that hold the pull down handle in place.
2. Starting at the outside corners, pull the entire plastic cover off of the door. Near the window, you kind of have to push it upwards and move it around to remove it. It is held in by metal clips, and a few plastic push plugs.
3. The speakers are the same setup as the front, unclip and remove.
4. This is where you have to be a little creative. First cut off the factory connectors, and install new wiring. Then, you can either drill into the metal or do what I did: Put good double sided tape on the speaker brackets, stick them in place, then plug in and install your speakers. Dont forget to test them.
5. Push the cover back into place and reattach the clips.
6. Finally, reattach the handle. The plastic peice may be a little loose, but that is not a problem.

Note: Don't play you new speakers at high volumes! Play them quietly at first, with minimal bass. After a few hours of overall "quiet" playing, then you can start to turn it up. This is called the break in period.
Enjoy your new speakers.
