Alright, so I was driving on the highway in the far right lane of a three lane road. Ahead of me was a sheet of ice with a pothole in the middle. I tried to swerve around the pothole, but my back end kicked out.:banghead: Next thing I know, my car was spinning in the middle of the highway and I hit a 2003 Acura MDX. Then that car spun around and hit my car. Luckily, there was only body damage to the both of our cars and nobody got hurt. Now that's a sad story.

I've seen people do the same thing at 30 miles an hour. Usually they get control back and all you have to do is drive slowly behind them for a few seconds, but sometimes.... shit happens.

Sorry to hear that story.. Just be glad no one was hurt. Cars are fixable and replacible, people are not. Sorry duckydsp, at least you'll see another day..

It was rain on top of ice today driving around, and a lot of people crashed, even more almost did.

I saw a van do a 360 Brakelock(tm) on a 3 lane road, and I saw a truck go into a snow bank to avoid hitting someone.. which sent snow flying like mad.

People in my afternoon class got in accidents, but luckily I don't suck at driving. 99% of these accidents are avoidable, it's too bad that potholes are in that 1% :( sorry to hear about it

I'm getting my car inspected on wed. I am getting basically all new body parts like, headlights, a new hood, front bumper, left fender, left side skirt, back bumper, and left and right quarter panels. I also noticed that I blew my rear right strut during the crash. Are there any ideas on how I can get insurance to pay for my body kit to get put on? It's the quwhees 12-piece kit.:smokin:

Your 12 piece adds to the stock bumpers, right or wrong?

I don't think that they will, or that you will find a way too get them to pay for it.
I am guessing that you did not declare it to the insurance company.

Yeah, the kit gets molded on over the stock parts.
I figured that I probably couldn't get them to pay for it, but it was worth a shot.

find out if you can get the cash for the stock parts instead of insurance just covering the bill. If you can somehow get cash, you can turn around and buy a stock bumper online and the you'll have a little extra to help pay for the body kit.
