Hi Folks -

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me.

Have three problems -

1. All my display lights work fine during the day....at night, it seems when the twilight sentinel goes on....all my display lights go out....radio lights, heat/ac lights/ the entire display that shows the engine function. Any ideas about this one?

2, My entire dash lights are out.....I have checked the fuses and they seem okay. This started around the same time

3. My fog light indicator does not display.

Any ideas on what can be wrong? Thanks!

Does anything work using the manual switch to turn them on/off? Are the fog lights on and just the button light is out? If the DIC is out, you've got a bigger problem.

Thanks for reply. I can turn the headlights on and off with the arm so they seem to be working okay. As far as the dashlights, they are totally out. Regarding all interior lights, once the twilight sentinel takes effect - all my interior lights go out. Is there a way to disable the twilight sentinel so I have to turn the lights on and off manually? this would solve my problem with everything except the dashlight. Thanks for any help you can give me!

P.S. No excuses but I am a female with limited knowledge of cars and trying to avoid $$$$$$ going out to the dealerships!

Roll the twilight switch all the way down and it should "click" off, allowing normal use from the multi-function switch. My TS switch is the only feature on my car that did not work when I bought it so I really can't be much help here. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply.....I will try that. Do you happen to know if there is a bulb in the instrument panel that can go out? That may be my problem with the dashlights.

I know that there is a plug that comes out from your stereo and into the wire harness and IT controls your dash light function. If you have installed an aftermarket stereo OR had a problem with your factory stereo, then that is probably the problem. I recently had my car stereo removed, and ever since then, my dash lights only work in the daytime. WHAT GIVES!!?? Hope this helps.
