H22 tranny for F22 motor?

hey guys just a thought that i have... is it possible for a prelude tranny to fit and function in an accord sohc motor without any major modifications?

I would assume so... Since F series motors and H series motors are both compatible... People do H22 swaps on Accords using their original F series Tranny all the time. I don't see why it can't be done in reverse!

I'm sure it would work. I just don't know why you'd wanna do that unless you wanna put the H22 in and maybe keep the Manny Tranny from the F22? Well good luck with that and if you do it, check back and let us know if it worked.

well the reason i'm wondering is because i think my auto tranny is gonna crap out on me soon so i'd like to know what my options are other than just getting the current tranny fixed... i have a auto-to-manual conversion in mind... does anybody know how much that would run? thanks for all the help & input!
