If it spools faster and at a lower RPM (which I think it does) can this turbo get me close to the 750RWHP range?? J SPEC SilEighty 02-10-2004, 10:00 PM Whats the HP rating and Boost rating on a t3/4 anyways?? should I toss the T78 I have waiting for me?? Sure, it would be possible, but you would be waiting a long ass time for boost unless if this is purely a drag car in which case you can decrease spool time while sacraficing driveability. A T78 on an SR or a KA is waaaay to big for regular street driving. A T3/T4 can make a full 25 psi at 4000 rpm.... depending on things such as trim and A/R. With the .82 A/R, the biggest a/r available on t3/t4's, the KA is capable of putting out over 500 whp. A safe estimate would be about 525 whp at full boost and with correct tuning. ozzy619 02-10-2004, 10:14 PM What the hell are you putting a T78 on? Well the i made the call (luckliy the setup wasn't ordered yet) So He's switchin the order to a T3/4 setup J SPEC SilEighty 02-10-2004, 10:17 PM Well the i made the call (luckliy the setup wasn't ordered yet) So He's switchin the order to a T3/4 setup good choice http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif so what are the specs on the turbo your getting? ozzy619 02-10-2004, 11:22 PM good choice http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif so what are the specs on the turbo your getting? To be honest with you I'm not to sure. You see All the Junk is in Japan and I won't know till March when i return. My friend has a shop and is preordering for me. I told him what I'm looking to do and he said he would get the correct parts. I told him I was looking for a RB set up but we nixed that when he said he had a S14 SR that we can swap into a 90 180sx when we came to figures I said i was looking for around 750RWHP there was a puase and some Japanese and he said Ok he'd do what he can. I checked in Last week he said he was looking at a T78 kit. When I mentioned a T3/4 he got excited and said it was a better choice. It's nice having a Japanese wife that lets my paycheck go to a car!!! :smokin: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
