Has anyone ever installed all of the necessary equipment for power steering on a nova. I have a 71 nova and the person before me took out the power steering, I was just wondering how hard it would be to re install it.

I shouldnt think it would be too hard to do it as it was once a PS car before. Some parts might be a bit difficult to locate these days, like brackets and pully stuff. Pump, hoses and PS box should be available from parts store(s), rebuilder(s) and/or junkyard. You didn't say to what extent the last owner disabled the PS system.
Are the mounting brackets still there and the stock pullys? Or did they strip it all off? Figure it couldn't be too difficult, mount the pump to your block, remove the manual steering box from the frame, pitman arm, and steering column. Mount the PS box to the frame, connect the column and pitman arm, run a PS pressure hose to the box from the pump and a return line back, run a belt from the PS pump pully to the fan and crank pully(s) fill 'er with fluid and should be it, (as long as you have the correct parts and the pullys align ect..)
