I'm pretty sure its the ABS sensors that are on your front rotors. I have scene it where they are faulty and it makes the whole car act up.

Check them out.
Hope that helps

i have a 1994 cavalier with the 3.1 V6, and the sensor on my right wheel hub is basically destroyed, the ABS light kicks on at 25 miles and hour, up untill that point, my pedal pulses and acts like im stopping on the ABS, once the light kicks on it stops and the car runs fine

Yes, chances are that your Wheel Speed Sensors (aka ABS sensors) are corroded to the point that their signal is messed up. Do you know which wire/wires specifically that you are jiggling? Maybe the harness to the ICM is just wearing out/corroded internally.
