DarkTint 02-11-2004, 01:10 PM [QUOTE=Ripn12s]Dont know how many of you are on clubgp or in Texas, but here are some pictures I took of the shootout. Ripn, did you run your car? If not, why the hell not???? And if so, how did you do? Ripn12s 02-11-2004, 01:19 PM Im done racing the car for now. Im at a point were it has become very expensive to go faster. Just had transmission rebuilt a month earlier and now has a stock differential. I've broken 2 LSD's so I didnt want to chance it. I need a Quaife Diff if I ever plan on racing the car hardcore again. I did make 2 passes that day. 14.3 - Traction control basically stalled the car after the launch. 13.9 - Removed traction control fuse. Full car w/ stereo, 1/2 tank gas, no slicks, no burnout and the excuses go on and on It just cost too much money right now and I need all the money I can get just to live. DarkTint 02-11-2004, 01:41 PM Understandable. That's why I race go-karts. It doesn't tear up my street car, it's not AS expensive (though not cheap by any means), and I don't have to just go fast in straight lines. http://www.slka.net/Default.aspx?PageKey=5 :naughty: BFT 02-11-2004, 03:45 PM Interesting site. caruch6392 02-11-2004, 04:14 PM those were some nice drag shots...that grand prix SE made me laugh though but i hope you guys take note as to removing your left headlight for more air to the air filter i've never tried it but i'm sure it helps. :p My grand prix gt (http://www.cardomain.com/id/fallen_blade) http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/1/web/385000-385999/385234_87.jpg Ripn12s 02-11-2004, 04:32 PM When I run my car I remove the headlight (like everyone else) and also my filter :) Earls SE is pretty quick and has the same 3.8 as your GT BFT 02-11-2004, 04:51 PM People snicker at my SE untill they realize they're not looking at the front, but rather the back of it in a race. She is a Sleeper ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz...... (and the CSC or turbo will be in hopfully before mid summer). vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
