V-Afc issues...
VeNomGSR 02-03-2004, 05:03 PM Theres this option called Vtec Untimed..or Unlimt. ... or somethin like that...i wish i had my manual.... But ill try to explain...someone has to know what it is. But it says Hi> and u can put in a percent like -10% or whatever And Low> and u put in another percent...wtf is that?? I got my curve already set-up and i know what the other things are...cept that. CivicSpoon 02-03-2004, 06:48 PM Not sure cause I don't have you but here's a link to the manual online: http://www.apexi-usa.com/documentation.asp VeNomGSR 02-03-2004, 08:52 PM Yeah i know...i cant open the .pdf file.....But ive read it before at a friends...and we really didnt understand it....so thats why im askin crxlvr 02-04-2004, 10:56 AM the high and low are the cam lobes, the HI is where you want the vtec cam lobe to become activated, and the low is where they drop off. VeNomGSR 02-04-2004, 07:01 PM Yeah but what the heck do i do with the percentage....Go +% on the high and -% on the low...or vise versa...or what.. crxlvr 02-05-2004, 10:27 AM well those instructions are very confusing on their website, but i think it has something to do with the mixture of air/fuel being introduced into the combustion chambers, during VTEC(high) and non-VTEC(low) cam profiles. jcrx 02-06-2004, 01:25 AM Are you doing these adjusments on a dyno? If not you stand a VERY good chance of 1) fucking up you motor, 2) losing power, instead of making it. IntegraB18LS 02-06-2004, 10:09 AM I was wondering the same thing when I put one on my G/F's prelude but I think its just that if you only have your throttle open a little bit it wont go into vtec but above 50% and it will, thats just my guess and could be completely wrong more im thinking about it now, it isnt part of the fuel enrichment is it?
