71 Nova, what wheel size?Tracy Focht 02-03-2004, 05:29 PM I plan on putting soem drag wheel setup on my '71 Nova. Plans for the 15x3.5" up front, but what size is genrally used in the rear. I know there isn't much room, but what size rime, 15x8 with ?? BS and tire...let's say ET Streets....any feedback is much appreciated! Robs71Nova 02-03-2004, 11:02 PM Hey. I just recently put some wider tires on the back of my 71 Nova so i know what you are askin. the biggest rim your gonna be able to fit under there is thr 15x8. I have a set of 15x8 corvette rims on the back of my nova, with a set of 60's for tires, and i cant even get a finger in between the tire and fender, and i had to put some air shocks on the back to keep the tire from hittin the fender everytime i went over a bump. i hope this helps Rob Tracy Focht 02-04-2004, 11:16 AM thanks Rob...do you happen to know the backspacing on those? TRILOGYZ28 02-11-2004, 03:02 AM how about some 19's :) :) http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/9/web/249000-249999/249893_151_full.jpg racingpyro19 03-24-2004, 03:24 AM you will probably run around a 4-5 bs a1supersport 03-24-2004, 07:24 AM ooooo....those 19's fit nicely ;). But as for the 15x8 vette rims, they're about 4 inches in, and out. You could order a set of 15x8's with about 5 inches of backspace. But a lot depends on what tire you'll be using. If it's a 26x9 inch slick, the 15x8 with 5 inch backspace should be fine. But a 26x10 would be really tight and may even rub. PERRO 08-17-2004, 01:32 AM FOR A 15X8 WHEEL YOU WILL HAVE TO USE 4.5"BS CHECK OUT THIS LINK IT MIGHT HELP http://www.2quicknovas.com/6874.html Villain281H 08-26-2004, 08:11 AM If you have a stock width rear, you'll want to run a 15 x 8 rim with 4.5" BS. I run a 275/60/15 on the street and a 28 x 11.5" M/T ET Street (actual measurements are 27.5 x 8.9) on the track and they fit great and don't rub (you will want to roll the quarter lips).
