How in the devil do you get those dang plugs out? And my coil was arcing. I replaced the cap and rotor plus the coil. The plugs and AC Delco wires are gonna havta wait till all that slush dries up! :evillol: At least I found out how to remove the engine cover! :lol2: juma33 02-22-2004, 07:15 PM remove the engine cover in the cab and you can get all but the two front on the passenger side. I got those by removing the front wheel and going through the wheel well. It ain't easy. get several assorted length extentions and pack a lunch, bring a priest, etc. It helps a lot to have small hands. I can palm a basketball so its pretty tough for me. If yours are smaller should be easier. juma Tom173 02-26-2004, 10:49 PM How in the devil do you get those dang plugs out? And my coil was arcing. I replaced the cap and rotor plus the coil. I have found one thing that makes it simplier to get your plugs in and started in the hard to reach places. Take a piece of rubber hose, one that will fit tight over the ceramic portion of the plug, about 18 inches long, use this to start the plug and get it semi tight. Not much danger of damaging the threads this way. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
