I don't think anyone has done a report on one of these yet, so here goes :) I've just finished the rear suspinsion :) This is my first ever kit :smoker:

If you mean the body, Yes. I'm doing it in the same color as it came in, hence why I never bothered to paint the under side.

When I was doing my first kit RX7 I forgot to paint bottom of the
car and thought of it AFTER all suspension and drivetrain details was painted and attached. My wife fixed the bottom not too bad. She is better with brush than me

I have that kit too Cosworth! I plan on black with aftermarket 18" rims, lowered suspension and modded engine bay! (If I can find some parts!)

Are you doing the US version, Japanese version or the Euro model?

I'm going with the US version. I was suprised at how low the car is, Don't think it would need lowering.

That surprises me!
I am going for the Euro version as you get the hood scoop and the deep chin spoiler!
I'll have a look at yours when you have completed it and then decide on the lowering!

We (Steve G, myself and the crew!) have been down in Cheltenham for the rally quite a lot! That's about as near to Glouchester as I have got!

Do you have any nicer wheels? The standard ones are a bit tame!

Well, I've got some off a WRC focus that went a bit wrong so all the bits have gone into the parts box, but they stick out about 0.7mm :(

If you saw how much the wheels stuck out on my Celica, you would have been amazed!
You have to file down the disc, as you can see by the black bit in this photo. Therefore you are bringing the wheel further into the arch.
If it is too much for a first project we understand! But it could look good!
What colour would you do the wheels?
I see Chrome or Dark Silver as per the box!

I like the idea of fileing the disc away a bit, I'll have a go at it later tonight, then post the results up :)

Well, i'm off to halfords tomorrow, so i'll get some primer and maybe get the 'grayish brownish silver', I think thats what the paint is called, but I might go to the model shop to see if they have it in stock, i'll look up the code later :) in the mean time the interior is in, as well as the motor, not to sure about the engine really, looks a bit crappy :(

Looks to be a nice fit into the bay and can allow for plenty of detail.
