i have a gsr , and i have read that because of the rather high c/r that it has , only about 8 psi is safe on it . I was wondering if i get some JE pistons to lower my c/r would this affect anything else ?? would i then be able to run about 12-14 psi ?? :newburn:

Yes and no. You will be able to run that amount of boost but I would also advise to install some good rods, arp head bolts, better head gasket and at the least a block guard.

yes you cant just lower your compression and run those amounts of boost, you need to upgrade alot of other stuff first, like forged rods, forged valves, Turbo spec cams, new springs and retainers, block sleeving, etc.
