I am losing coolant off the back side of the engine, I have read some where that it is the intake manifold. I cant really see where it is coming from. any info would be great, 1998 Sierra 1500, 5.7 ltr
Thanks in advance

Yes, this is a common problem with these trucks, my 97 leaks too. The problem is the lower intake gasket. Because of the torque applied at the factory, many have cracked and now leak. The fix is to replace the gasket, and torque down in a series of increasing increments. I'm not sure what the spec's are, but the dealer could tell you. If you decide to do it, let me know how it goes.
