I just bought a new remote for my '00 camry solara, one with a trunk release button in addition to the door lock/unlock. It came with instructions to program the doors, which worked just fine. My question is, does anyone know how to program the trunk release? or if i can even do it. I have a 2000 Solara SLE, so can this trunk release work on my car or not? if so, how to program it? thanks in advance..

Hello all,

My first visit here. You remote trunk release will work if you have the trunk relase mechanism in your car. I had mine installed after market with my remote start and it works just fine.

It cost under $100. No not the dealer. They have outragous rates. I went to the local stereo and car alarm shop. It's not a big job..

when u go to the dealer u get your car fixed the first time on time and u also get toyota parts not junk aftermarket parts. Also u will not get your car F***ed up!
