My son is scheduled to return from Iraq in March. Having saved his entire paycheck for the last 12mo, he wants to put down a big downpayment on a Subaru WRX STI. (He hasn't seen the insurance rates yet.)

A Viet Nam vet told me that soldiers then could buy cars thru some military program and have them ready when they got home.

Anybody know if such a program is around today? :( :(
