When I start my Rodeo, I have to pump the gas a few (and I mean more than three) times in order for it to start up. Had been fine after start up, ran fine with no stalling, smoke, or weird smell. Now, it's eating through gas, or at least the gauge says so. I filled up yesterday, and it is at half a 21 gallon tank after 77 miles! Something must be wrong, but what? Saw the other postings in regard to EGR valves, fuel regulator pumps and fuel sending units but I am not experienced to start finding these on my car without a little more direction. I think there is a problem with it just not getting enough O2, aready replaced the air filter after the fires here in the San Diego area last fall. Don't trust the Isuzu dealers in my area- overpriced and not helpful. Any direction?

for your starting issues there is a PCM reprogramming that should help this also check your spark plugs it should have nippendensos nothing else there have also been some issues with the fuel pressure regulator that can cause this pull the vacuum line off of the regulator to see if there is any fuel in it
