I removed the airhorn on my '98 and it now sounds like an old quadrajet! It increased the intake area about 3 times! I can actually FEEL a difference. The van has 91,XXX on it and I just spent $125.oo for AC Delco wires and plugs for it. If I get over this cold, I'll try to find my way inside the engine cover this weekend! Then comes a K&N. I guess I'll wait to see if I'm laid off next month before I try to put true duals with an "H" pipe on it.
Anyone else done this?

Are you going to get just the K+N filter or the whole FIPK? Filter is nice, but the FIPK is excelent.

Is there a kit for the '98 Express? I would love a fresh air kit. But finding anything for the big vans is disappointing! :banghead:
I have been trying to do a tuneup, but all the slush dripping off is trying to dissuade me! :disappoin

There Is A Ballancer In The Engine Under The Timming Cover. Putting The Older 4.3 Timming Chain On And Eliminating The Ballancer Allows The Engine To Be More Responsive. It Makes A Lot Of Dif. Also, Get Rid Of That Big Ass Clutch Fan And Replace It With An Electric
