Your description sure sounds like a carburator problem to me. Anyone else have an opinion? borty 01-22-2004, 01:10 PM eeee it is full injection. so any other idea???? and one of my friend told me that it might be cause i've change my batterie and the car computer is uncalibrated. Thank in advance Towncar 01-23-2004, 12:20 AM If that's actually the case, which I have heard of, it should "learn" normal running conditions in about 50 miles. When I changed my battery I left a 12volt power supply to the car with jumper wires and a charger. borty 01-23-2004, 03:27 PM ok than i'm going to try that! ltdltc 01-24-2004, 04:10 AM If the Idle is going up and down, the first thing you want to look at is the IAC. The Idle Air Control Motor or Valve is on the backside of the throttle body, it adjust the air going into the engine to control the idle. The problem is this part gets filled with junk from the engine and causes it to malfunction. It's a easy part to change and only costs $30 someodd dollars from AutoZone. You could also try cleaning it. It is held on to the throttle body by 2 screws (don't know if they were bolts or screws) and a connector at the end.
