I was racing a acura 3.5RL i went into fourth and floored it. The car kept goin when i looked down i was doin about 130 in 4th. I was just wondering whats the top speed on my kinda car. Its a 94 sentra XE with the GA16 motor.

sorry, but you can't hit 130 even on a downhill with a wind. If you speedo read 130 then it needs to be calibrated...badly

I'd say your top speed is in the neighborhood of 115

I wouldn't even claim 130 on my SE-R if the speedo read it, and the 92 SE-R is capable of close to that.

ga16's only go up to 109,its the ECU...

wow so if i were to get like a JWT ECU you think i might get a little quicker than that? And what else you guys think i should do to make the car get quicker pick-up and top-end speed?

the JWT ecu will remove the speed limiter,and bring up the rpm fuel cut off to 7,300RPMs! i think thats enough,the rest is up to the engine

no,you have to get it from JWT,and its only...$500+!! lol,oh and you have to send the ecu,they just reprogram it!

Wow thats pretty quick. I never heard of anyone doin it wit a 4 door though no offense. I like ur ride u have a nice clean look to it. One thing i`m really surprised about is that ur grill stayed on. You know on like the B13 sentra when ppl make the grill. well i have mine cut out and all but i`m not sure where to put the mush does it go complety behind the brakets that hold on the grill to the front or does it go like right in between there...anyone? Now sr20de......when u said u were racin a ITR..whas that? lol

people..get it straight! your speedos are not accurate. the sentra GA16's cannot go over 109 no matter what! but the SR20's on the other hand, can go up to anywhere they want!

yeh but sr20de4ever has a sr20 in his car? well if he does i was thinkin that he had the 1.8L. and a other thing... i read up 2 nights ago that the sr20`s top out at around 130.

ITR = integra type r, runs in the mid 14's stock

135 is pretty quick, my car was drag limited to around 125 stock, but after everything I've done it gained a bit of top end so it tops out higher. I'm not sure where it tops out exactly, probably right around 135 or 140 at the most.

I'm one of the lucky few who grabbed an 01 SE, the last of the sentras to come with an sr20. The last car in the US to get an sr20 was the 02 infinity g20...but I'm close! :D

are you sure about the 109 limit I thought it was 115
